Both pre-paid and postpaid technologies are present in wireless internet connection. There is a lot of difference between Pre-paid and Postpaid Mobile Broadband (Mobilt Bredbånd) service. Here is a brief comparison of these services.

·         In pre-paid Mobile Broadband (Mobilt Bredbånd) connection, there is no contract, while normally two years contract is signed for postpaid wireless internet.

·         In prepaid mobile internet connection, there is no facility of credit check and vice versa for postpaid connection.

·         No charges for early termination in case of pre-paid service, while in the case of postpaid, termination fees may be up to $ 200.

·         There is a limited option for card selection in case of pre-paid, while there is wide range of postpaid Mobile Broadband (Mobilt Bredbånd) cards in the market.

·         In case of pre-paid Mobile Broadband (Mobilt Bredbånd), both short term and long term plans are available, while there is only long term plan for postpaid service.
